Upload a STEP file and we will tell you what is actually in it: whether the solids are watertight, how many separate bodies there are, and whether any of them intersect. Nothing is published, and the file is deleted after the check.

What this checks

• Watertight solids. A file that looks right in a viewer can still be surfaces with gaps, which no CAM or FEA tool will accept.
• Body count. Assemblies arrive as one file; knowing it is really fourteen bodies changes what you can do with it.
• Interference. Bodies sharing solid volume — the defect that turns up on the shop floor rather than on screen.

What it does not do

It cannot check intent. There is no description of what the part was meant to be, so nothing here says the geometry is correct — only what it demonstrably is. That distinction is the whole point of the tool, and we would rather say so than imply a guarantee we cannot make.
